What is datanerd.tech?
I'm Luke Barousse, a self-proclaimed datanerd and YouTuber. I noticed something ironic: data professionals had almost no real data about their own job market. So I built datanerd.tech. It's a job market intelligence platform that collects postings daily to surface what skills employers actually want, what they pay, and how demand shifts over time. No opinions. Just data.
How it works
Every day my pipeline collects thousands of job postings from job platforms across 170+ countries. Each posting runs through a data pipeline that extracts skills, normalizes job titles, and calculates salary benchmarks. The results are aggregated and made available here, updated daily.
Data source
I pull job postings via SerpApi from Google Jobs search results. Their API is what makes this daily collection possible. If you use SerpApi, mention datanerd.tech for 20% off paid plans.
